Coryphaumbraculifera, also known as the talipot palm plant, is native to India and Sri Lanka.

Talipot has huge flowers, which can grow 6 to 8 meters long, consisting of one to several million!

Interestingly, the talipot palm is monocarpic and blossoms only once in its life.
